TVA To Hold Public Meeting in Bowling Green on Draft Integrated Resource Plan

April 20, 2015

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Tennessee Valley Authority will host a public meeting in Bowling Green on Wednesday, April 22, about the newly released draft of its 2015 Integrated Resource Plan, a guide to TVA’s energy planning decisions for the next 20 years.

The meeting is the final in a series of seven TVA will offer around the Valley. It will be held at the Sloan Conference Center, Meeting Room 1, 1021 Wilkinson Trace in Bowling Green.

The session will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CDT.

The IRP and associated Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement is a study of how TVA might meet energy and capacity needs in a variety of future conditions. Currently, TVA is in the draft phase of the study and is holding public meetings to answer questions and obtain feedback on the results.

The TVA staff will present its recommendations on a final version of the plan to the TVA board of directors in August.

Public comments and questions may be submitted on the project website or by email at IRP@tva.gov.
