TVA’s Regional Energy Resource Council Meets in Chattanooga May 24 and 25

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.—The Tennessee Valley Authority’s Regional Energy Resource Council will hold a two-day public working session on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, and Wednesday, May 25, 2016, in Chattanooga, Tenn., to discuss the evolving energy marketplace.

The council meeting will be held at The Chattanoogan Hotel, 1201 Broad St., Chattanooga, Tenn., 37402, and will begin at 10 a.m. EDT, on Tuesday, May 24. On Wednesday, May 25, the meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. EDT.

The meeting is open to the public, and the public comment session is Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Those wanting to speak must sign-up by 8:30 a.m.

The Regional Energy Resource Council, a 20-member group with representatives from across the Tennessee Valley, advises TVA on the over-arching issues and often competing objectives involved in its energy resource decision-making.
