Quality Contractor Network

When it's time to make home energy upgrades, you want the best advice and contractors you can trust. The better the installation, the more comfortable your home will be. It's just that simple.

That’s why TVA and your local power company have developed the Quality Contractor Network (QCN) as part of the EnergyRight Programs. QCN members are licensed, insured and trained by TVA. They have the skill and the knowledge to help you find the right upgrades and/or systems for your home, install them properly, service any equipment down the road and even coordinate financing through your local power company (where available).

Tools of the Trade

All QCN members must meet the participation guidelines set forth by TVA. A QCN member can assess your home and equipment and make recommendations for equipment replacement as well as install it. TVA QCN members are committed to TVA standards of professionalism and fair dealing, and encouraged to provide quick, courteous service that works with your schedule.

QCN members can help coordinate low-interest loans through your local power company (where available).

Plus, after qualified upgrades have been installed by a QCN member, we will send an eScore energy advisor to your house to inspect the completed work—for free!

Choosing Your Contractor

When consulting a new contractor there are a few important steps you should take. Always ask the contractor if he or she is a member of TVA’s Quality Contractor Network. Ask the QCN for references, and use these to find out whether other customers were satisfied.

Get at least three written estimates with details on work to be performed, as well as the efficiency of the equipment to be installed.

If you’d like a list of Quality Contractor Network members near you, register at www.2escore.com contact your local power company.
