A team leader and projects manager in TVA’s Energy Research & Technology Applications office, has the lead role for interfacing with the SAMI Modeling Subcommittee and the GIT-UAH-UVA modeling team, and for overseeing the work done under the TVA contract with SAMI. Has been a Certified Consulting Meteorologist since 1989, with over 20 years experience in air quality assessments, research and atmospheric modeling.

A specialist-level atmospheric analyst in TVA’s Energy Research & Technology Applications office, has the lead for overseeing the application of URM to the SAMI episodes. With 25 years of experience in the measurement and modeling of atmospheric effects of power production, has directed numerous air quality assessment projects including airborne and ground-based field measurements, and computer model development and application.

Has nearly 25 years experience in developing, modifying, and applying atmospheric dispersion and photochemical models to address regulatory and other air issues.
