Larry Kernea

Larry Kernea is the general manager of the Murphy Electric Power Board, where he previously served as assistant general manager for five years. Prior to joining the Power Board, Kernea worked at Blue Ridge Mountain Electric Membership Corporation from 1982 to 2002.

Kernea serves on the Tri-County Community College Board of Trustees and is a member of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Industrial Development Association, and Georgia Administrative and Personnel Management Association. He is a graduate of Tri-County Community College and North Georgia Technical College.
