Thomas R. Vorholt

Thomas Vorholt, vice chair of the Regional Resource Stewardship Council, is the vice president of Dry Cargo Sales and Customer Service at Ingram Barge Company in Nashville.

Before joining Ingram, Vorholt was employed by the Ohio River Company and by Procter & Gamble. He served five years in the U.S. Coast Guard and was commanding officer of Loran Station, Cape Sarichef, Alaska. He was awarded the Coast Guard Achievement Medal and Unit Meritorious Commendation.

Vorholt is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and earned an MBA from Vanderbilt University. He serves on the board of directors of the Association of Tennessee Valley Governments and the American Coal Council.
