Roy G. “Joe” Satterfield

Joe Satterfield has been general manager of Blue Ridge Mountain Electric Membership Cooperative in Young Harris, Georgia, since 1984. He was previously employed with electric utilities in Brighton, Colorado, and Covington, Georgia.

Satterfield is past president of the Union County and Towns County chambers of commerce. He is a member of Rotary International, the Appalachian Educational and Historical Society, and the Community Council for the Georgia Mountain Resource Center. He was educated at Georgia State University and the University of Nebraska.
