George B. Kitchens

George Kitchens is General Manager and CEO of Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation (JWEMC) in Trinity, Alabama. Prior to joining JWEMC, he worked with several utilities in Alaska and West Virginia.

Kitchens serves on the board of the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association, the Alabama Rural Electric Association, the Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce. He serves as president of the North Alabama Public Power Association and the North Alabama Industrial Development Association, and is a member of the Decatur Rotary Club.

Kitchens earned a B.S. in Accounting from Mississippi State University.
