Bill Forsyth

Bill Forsyth is the chairman of the Murphy Electric Power Board in Murphy, North Carolina. He serves on the North Carolina Economic Development Board and the board of directors of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

Forsyth previously served as the president and chief executive officer of Citizens Bank in Murphy, which became the North Carolina Division of United Community Banks. He has served as a town councilman for the Town of Murphy, chairman of the Cherokee County Commission, and chairman of the Western Carolina University Board of Trustees. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Political Science from Western Carolina University.
