Fort Loudoun Reservoir at Tennessee River mile 604.5 (left bank), in Loudon County, Tennessee.

Description

TVA is considering granting a revocable license over approximately 21 acres to a commercial recreation operator for the operation of Yarberry Campground on Fort Loudoun Reservoir in Loudon County, Tenn.  TVA is seeking public comments as part of the environmental review process.

An operator would be selected by TVA through a Request For Proposal process and the license will commence with the 2013 recreation season.  More information about TVA’s guideline for commercial recreation operations can be found at www.tva.com/river/recreation/commercial.htm.

Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this action must be received on or before March 13, 2013.  Written comments may be mailed to the address below or e-mailed to kjohnson@tva.gov.
