License agreement for day-use area on Watts Bar Reservoir

Location

Watts Bar Reservoir, Tennessee River mile 532.5 (right bank), Rhea County, Tennessee

Description

TVA is seeking public comment on a license agreement requested by Rhea County to operate and maintain Rhea Springs Day-Use Area.

Rhea Springs Day-Use Area is located on Watts Bar Reservoir, Tennessee River Mile 532.5, right bank.  There are no proposed changes to the site, which Rhea County will operate for day use.

TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential for the proposed action to affect the environment or local historic properties, and to identify any other issues TVA should consider associated with this proposal.  The comments will be used in reaching a decision on the proposed action.

Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before August 13, 2011.  Written comments may be mailed to the address below or emailed to slmelton@tva.gov.  For addition information, please contact:
