A public informational meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, at Loudon County High School, 1039 Mulberry St., Loudon, Tennessee 37774. Registration will begin at 5 p.m. and presentations will be made at 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to obtain public input on the Rarity Pointe draft environmental impact statement (DEIS), which outlines the five alternatives considered by TVA for the property. TVA is interested in receiving comments on the DEIS and the proposed action and in identifying any other issues associated with this proposal. These comments will be used in reaching a decision concerning the proposal.
