Description

TVA is considering a request to allow for widening of Northshore Drive (SR 332) across an embayment near Pellissippi Parkway (Interstate 140) on 3.36 acres of TVA flowage easement land on Fort Loudoun Reservoir in Knox County, Tenn. TVA is seeking public comment as part of the environmental review process.

Northshore Market Investors has requested the rights to replace and expand the width of an existing bridge and Northshore Drive (SR 332) from two to five lanes affecting TVA tracts FL-347F, FL-348F and FL-349F. Widening this section of Northshore Drive (SR332) is anticipated to increase traffic capacity, reduce traffic delays and reduce queues.

TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential for the proposed action to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this proposal. The comments will be used to identify issues to be addressed in the environmental review for the proposed easement.

Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
