Proposed action
Grant of permanent easement
Location
McCarty Branch on Cherokee Reservoir, Grainger County, Tennessee.
Description
BECS, General Partners, has requested that TVA grant a 0.65-acre permanent easement across a small cove to connect two pieces of private property that would be developed for residential purposes.
The proposed project crosses McCarty Branch on Cherokee Reservoir. If it is approved, TVA would be compensated for the fair market value of the easement.
TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential of the proposed action to affect the environment or historic properties, and in identifying any other issues associated with this proposal. These comments will be used in reaching a decision concerning the proposed action.
