Marion County Road Easement Request
Location
Guntersville Reservoir, Tennessee River mile 424 in Marion County, Tennessee
Description
TVA received an easement request from Marion County, Tennessee. The property is located on Guntersville Reservoir, Tennessee River mile 424 in Marion County, Tennessee. The road is currently under easement to Nickajack Port Authority (NPA) and is being used as an access road to the Nickajack Port area. NPA has agreed to release the easement over the road back to TVA for the purpose of granting Marion County a permanent easement for use as a public road.
TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential for the proposed action to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this proposal. The comments will be used in reaching a decision concerning the proposed action.
Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection. All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before January 22, 2010, and should be directed to:
