Description

Edwin T. Loy Jr. has submitted a request to purchase an eight-acre parcel of TVA-managed land located on Fort Loudoun Reservoir in Loudon County. This would provide continued operation of Fort Loudon Marina and Calhoun’s Restaurant. The structures located on this parcel are owned by Mr. Loy. The request also includes continued water access rights fronting this parcel.

If a decision is made to sell this eight-acre parcel, TVA would receive fair market value for the land, and the property would be restricted to commercial recreation use.

TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential of the proposed action to affect the environment or historic properties, and would like to identify any other issues associated with this proposal. All written comments on this proposed action must be received by May 26, 2006, and should be directed to:
