Permanent Utility Easement
Location
Concord area of Knox County, Tennessee, just north of the Northshore Drive bridge over Sinking Creek
Description
TVA is considering a permanent utility easement request from First Utility District for construction of a sewer force main approximately 100 feet wide by 650 feet long, or approximately 1.5 acres, across TVA managed land. TVA is seeking public comment on this easement request.
The property is located in the old Concord area of Knox County, just north of the Northshore Drive bridge over Sinking Creek. Most of the new sewer line will be constructed on existing right of way, properties already managed by others, or private property except for a small portion on TVA managed land.
TVA is interested in your comments on the environmental impacts of this action. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection. Comments must be received on or before November 30, 2011. Written comments may be mailed to the address below or e-mailed to jlduffey@tva.gov.
