Request for sale of TVA land

Location
Guntersville Reservoir, Jackson County, Alabama

Description
The Waterworks Boards of the towns of Section and Dutton, Alabama, are requesting TVA to sell in fee at auction approximately 30 acres of TVA-managed land to expand their current wastewater treatment facility.

The proposed expansion in Jackson County, Guntersville Reservoir, Alabama, includes filters, raw water pumps, raw water intake lines, sludge dewatering facilities, and storage.

TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential of the proposed action to affect the environment or historic properties and in identifying any other issues associated with this proposal. These comments will be used in reaching a decision concerning the proposed action.

All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before March 24, 2004 and should be directed to:
