LocationTennessee River Mile 376.6, Left Bank, Guntersville Reservoir, Jackson County, Alabama DescriptionThe proposed work would consist of the construction of two private, covered, fixed community boat slips for Cabaniss Cove. The first dock, Dock A, would extend approximately 197 feet lakeward from normal summer pool (NSP) Elevation 595.0 and would be approximately 70 feet wide. Dock A would be able to accommodate 20 boats (see exhibit B at the link below). The second dock, Dock B, would extend approximately 82 feet lakeward from NSP Elevation 595.0 and would be approximately 82 feet wide. Dock B would be able to accommodate five boats. Both fixed structures would be constructed of pressure-treated lumber and would be supported by pilings. TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential of the proposed action to affect the environment or historic properties, and would like to identify any other issues associated with this proposal.
