Aquatic Plant Management
TVA will begin herbicide treatments near public facilities on Guntersville, Nickajack, Chickamauga and Pickwick reservoirs starting the week of June 10, 2013. The areas to be treated include: public ramps, swimming beaches, parks (state, county, city), church camps, and facilities of nonprofit organizations such as the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. These areas will be treated on an as-needed basis through September. A mechanical harvester will also be used to open and maintain boating access lanes to public facilities on Guntersville and Nickajack reservoirs.

Conner Island area – Marshall County Park #1 public ramp, day use area along W side of US 431
North Sauty Creek – Goose Pond Colony cabin sites
B. B. Comer Bridge area – B. B. Comer public ramp
