Marine Sanitation Devices

All watercraft or nonnavigable houseboats moored at a commercial boat dock, public or private marina, or community dock facility must be equipped with a marine sanitation device (MSD) that is operable and fully compliant with state and federal regulations, including “no discharge” requirements where applicable.

Upon request by TVA, commercial dock, public or private marina, or community dock owners or permit holders under Section 26a of the TVA Act must provide evidence of satisfactory compliance with this regulation.
