Section 26a of the TVA Act
Duck Blinds
Duck blinds do not require Section 26a approval; however, TVA will take such action as necessary to prevent or rectify the placement of waterfowl blinds, on TVA reservoirs and adjoining shoreland, that are potential navigation and public safety hazards, abandoned, or in disrepair. Waterfowl blinds in a good state of repair and in locations that do not cause navigation or safety hazards or public controversy will not require further action.
This guideline applies to all TVA reservoirs and adjoining shoreland.
This guideline represents a reasonable, effective, and publicly endorsed approach to regulating the placement of waterfowl blinds on TVA reservoirs to minimize associated impacts on navigation and public safety.
