FLORENCE, Ala. - The State Highway 133 Bridge (Wilson Dam Road) across Wilson Dam will be closed for work on the dam spillway gates beginning at 8 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, May 29, and Friday, June 1. The closures will remain until work is completed, which is most likely to be late afternoon each day. The road will be open on Wednesday and Thursday.
Signs will be placed at both ends of the bridge to alert traffic to find an alternate route. In the event of inclement weather, the work may be extended or rescheduled.
