New Boat Access Area Closed for Paving Work

Lenoir City, Tenn. – The new boat access area below Tellico Dam in Loudon County, Tenn., will close April 19 through April 29 so construction crews can pave the parking area and access road from Highway 444, Tellico Parkway. Once complete, the new boat ramp will provide access to the Tennessee River below the Tellico and Fort Loudoun dams and will feature a dual-launch boat ramp, boarding pier and parking for 70 vehicles.
