World of Coal Ash 2011
World of Coal Ash (WOCA) is an international conference organized by the American Coal Ash Association and the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research. The 2011 conference was the fourth joint biennial meeting of the two organizations. These meetings focus on the science, applications and sustainability of coal ash worldwide.
TVA organized a special platform session and several supplemental posters on the environmental investigations underway at the Kingston site for the 2011 WOCA conference in Denver. These presentations show results of investigations by researchers from TVA and contractors.
