Action Memorandum for Time-Critical Removal
On August 4, 2009 EPA approved an Action Memorandum describing TVA's proposed time-critical removal action for the TVA Kingston Fossil Fuel Plant Ash Release site. This removal action involves the removal, processing, and disposal of a major portion of the ash material that was released into and adjacent to the Emory River. The primary component of this removal action is the dredging and processing of material from the Emory River.
