Gibson County High School in Dyer, Tennessee, is the host site for a 20 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The school offers a wide spectrum of academic and vocational classes and numerous extracurricular activities. With a solar-energy system right on campus, Gibson County High students will be able to learn firsthand about the operation and performance of photovoltaic modules.

The system consists of two arrays containing a total of 480 PV modules, which are mounted on a canopy that will provide cover for a walkway between the school’s technical center and gym.
