Over 30,000 blocks of green power sold!

Green Power Switch celebrated an important milestone this spring when it passed the 30,000 blocks sold mark. Today, Valley residents and businesses are buying more than 4.5 million kilowatt-hours of energy from the sun, wind, and methane gas every month. That’s almost 54,700,000 kWh of green power each year, the environmental equivalent of taking about 15,200 cars off the road for four months or recycling over 26 million pounds of newspaper. Congratulations! Together we have made Green Power Switch the largest green power program in the Southeast. Help us reach our next major milestone – 10,000 residential participants.
