WHAT

Staffing benchmarks provide valuable comparison data for TVA organizations to consider when developing action plans for improving efficiency of operations. These benchmarks allow TVA organizations to compare its staffing levels with external competitors and best of class organizations.

WHO

  • All TVA organizations.

WHY

Labor costs are a significant percentage of TVA's fixed costs. As we continuously strive to improve efficiency of operations and reduce operating costs, the reduction of the cost of labor must be addressed.

HOW

Staffing benchmarks may be validated from various sources such as other utilities, professional organizations, and consulting organizations such as Tim D. Martin & Associates.
