White Sulphur Springs Cabin SiteHardin County, Tennessee Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has received a request from the White Sulphur Springs (WSS) Homeowners Association to purchase at fair market value the lots they are now leasing from TVA. The WSS cabin site area was one of TVA's early ventures in recreational cabin site development where individual lessees would construct private cabins for their personal use. During the 1940s, nine summer cabins were constructed on these lots. In 1952, the TVA Board of Directors approved the sale of leased lots to the individual cabin owners, but was never completed. The proposed action was discussed in and would be consistent with the Pickwick Reservoir Land Management Plan. DocumentsPDF files require Adobe Acrobat Reader.
