Appalachian Regional Commission Grant for an Industrial Building, City of Water Valley, Mississippi

On July 25, 2012 TVA completed an environmental assessment (EA) and issued a finding of no significant impact for a proposal to administer a $195,000 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant to the City of Water Valley, Mississippi for the construction of an industrial building to accommodate a manufacturing company.
The building would be used by Allied Group, Inc. which is planning to move their coalescing filter manufacturing operation to Water Valley. The EA evaluates the potential environmental impacts of administering the ARC grant which would result in the construction and operation of the Allied Group facility.
