Upper First Creek Wastewater Storage FacilityKnoxville, Tennessee On December 7, 2005, TVA issued a Finding of No Significant Impact for the adoption of an Environmental Assessment prepared by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to review the impacts of a proposed wastewater storage facility on First Creek in Knox County, Tennessee. The project was proposed by the Knoxville Utilities Board to address a chronic storm-water runoff problem in the First Creek watershed. The project would require Section 26a approval to fill 516 feet of an unnamed tributary to First Creek and 0.05 acres of wetlands, create a new 628-foot stream channel with 0.06 acres of constructed wetland, and refurbish an existing bridge for construction of the facility.
