Tennessee State Route 91 Improvements

Johnson County, Tennessee

Proposed Action

Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) proposes to construct 5 miles of SR 91 on new alignment between Mountain City and Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee. The project involves impacts to wetlands and to two rural historic districts. TVA prepared an EA jointly with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District to assist in its decision-making process. The TVA FONSI was issued on July 21, 2006.
