Construction of a 161-kV delivery point

Summary

This final Environmental Assessment addresses the proposal by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to serve Blue Ridge Mountain Electric Membership Corporation’s (BRMEMC) planned substation at Ranger by building an approximately 4.9-mile, 161-kilovolt (kV) transmission line connection from TVA’s existing Murphy-Weaver 161-kV transmission line located east of Ranger, Noerh Carolina, to BRMEMC’s planned Ranger Substation.
