Nickajack Reservoir Land Management Plan

Nickajack Reservoir extends from Chickamauga Dam to Nickajack Dam, creating 192 miles of shoreline at summer water levels. The 46-mile reservoir flows east to west through two counties in south central Tennessee: Hamilton and Marion. The Nickajack Reservoir Land Management Plan was completed in January, 1990, to help guide TVA with land use decisions on the 3,171 acres under its stewardship.

An amendment to the Plan was approved in 1997 by the TVA Board to change the allocations for two tracts of land.
