Mathias Metal Systems—Loan for Equipment Purchase

Humphreys County, Tennessee

TVA has decided to make a loan to Mathias Metal Systems for equipment to be used in its new manufacturing facility in an industrial Park in the town of Waverly.  The equipment would enable the company have more control over production quality and scheduling by not outsourcing its production.  It would also assist the company to expand its operations and would allow an increase in employment by 50 jobs to a total of 56 employees by 2013.

TVA has prepared an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact that give the details and rationale for this decision.
