Kirkmansville-Clifty City Power Improvement ProjectChristian, Muhlenberg, and Todd Counties, Kentucky The 45.7-mile long Paradise-Hopkinsville 69-kilovolt (kV) Transmission Line supplies electric power to Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Pennyrile Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (RECC) substations in Christian, Muhlenberg, and Todd Counties in Kentucky. Over the last 5 years, this line has experienced numerous power interruptions, and excessive voltage fluctuations have occurred at the Kirkmansville and Clifty Substations. To remedy the situation, TVA proposes the following actions:
