Clovercroft 161-kV Substation
Williamson County, Tennessee
This final environmental assessment addresses the proposal by the Tennessee Valley Authority to serve Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation’s planned Clovercroft 161-kilovolt (kV) Substation. TVA proposes to build a 161- kV transmission line connection of approximately 5.3 miles in length from the East Franklin-Triune 161-kV transmission line to the new substation.
TVA has reviewed the public comments regarding the proposal and evaluated the environmental data on alternative routes for the transmission line. Based on these, TVA has selected the Route 1 alternative as the preferred route.
