Summary

TVA contracts with Wildlife Services of the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service to provide nuisance wildlife damage management and occasionally conducts its own management activities. This adoption of Wildlife Services’ environmental assessment  provides enhanced National Environmental Policy Act coverage for methods described in the EA and TVA FONSI. It is an efficiency measure to reduce or eliminate the need to prepare categorical exclusion checklists to document the potential effects of these types of TVA actions in Alabama.
