Solar Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles to be Tested Across Tennessee

The Tennessee Valley Authority, the Electric Power Research Institute and Oak Ridge National Laboratory Friday announced that they will test and deploy solar-assisted charging stations for electric vehicles across the state of Tennessee as part of one of the largest electric transportation projects in U.S. history.

February 2010 Fuel Cost Adjustment

For billing periods beginning February 1, 2010, TVA’s wholesale Fuel Cost Adjustment will change from its current credit of 0.779 cents per kilowatt-hour to a credit of 0.861 cents per kilowatt-hour.  This represents the eighth consecutive decrease in the FCA. Read more.

Natural Resource Plan

TVA is conducting a study of how to meet the future environmental needs of the Tennessee Valley. The Natural Resource Plan will help TVA manage natural resources and public lands over the next 20 years. Read more.

Integrated Resource Plan

To meet the region's electricity needs over the next 20 years, TVA is developing an Integrated Resource Plan. After a first round of public input, TVA is preparing a draft document to release for review and comment in early 2010. Read more.

Apply for construction permits

Permits for small shoreline construction projects can be completed online. Small projects include shoreline stabilization measures and structures like boat docks and piers. Find out how to apply.
